I was first introduced to our culture’s hang-ups regarding platonic touch in middle school, when I was asked by the school principle to remove a “Free Hugs” T-shirt. I thought it was strange at the time that someone would think it to be inappropriate in any way, but it wasn’t until much later that I learned that it was a symptom of a much broader cultural problem.

This company is here to fix that, here to meet a basic need people have that is not currently being met by the culture and to encourage people to be more comfortable with talking to the people in their lives about increasing the amount of physical contact in their relationships.
